The small Copenhagen-based studio of _Fjeldborg Design has a smart and practical philosophy behind the products they create. Their goal is to create good design without the designer price tag it often comes with. They focus on incorporating the functional elements into the actual structure of a product instead of creating it around a design’s function. Væg light is cut from a sheet of aluminum, bended and powder coated white. It incorporates the functional elements into the design, by using the porcelain bulb holder and cloth cable as part of the design.
It comes with a unique cable system, so you can adjust the length of the 5 meter long cable simply by wrapping it around the designed holders.
